2026 Fall Bucket List
Fall has Fallen! (like Spring has Sprung, get it?) and with that comes all the fun fall activities! Halloween/Spooky Season is probably my favorite time of year- there’s a slight crisp in the air; everyone’s spirits seem to be lifted a bit rolling into the colder months, and it feels like anything is possible. This year I want to take full advantage of the season and really go all out (or more than usual). It’s been a rough few months, so, to keep track of everything I want to do I made myself a little Fall Bucket List! That way I can write as I check off each item, and anyone could follow along!

Spooky Movie Marathon. I’m going to be real; this isn’t going to be a challenge- this is just on here because I love me some Halloween movies. But this is the year I’m going to attempt to do what few have done before…Stabathon. That’s right, all 7 Scream movies, back-to-back, baby! It may take me an entire weekend but I’m going to make it happen!
Treat myself to a new fall item. That cute coffee cup I’ve been eyeing at Marshalls, that fall throw blanket I saw the other day, the Smith Clark Cast Iron Cauldron Pot with Green ‘Bubbling Lid’ that I keep seeing at HomeGoods and keep telling myself I don’t need (putting this here to convince myself I need it), whatever it is- I’m just going to buy it.
Bake Pumpkin Treats (or favorite fall flavor). I am very much new to baking so I figured I could use this as an excuse to finally try new bakes while using pumpkin to really lure me in!
Find a new seasonal drink to fall in love with. That’s right, I’m spreading my wings and starting the hunt for a new fall beverage. Pumpkin Spice Lattes (really my pour-over coffee with pumpkin spice creamer) better watch their backs!
Start and finish a new book that gets me in the “Spooky Season” mood. I don’t think I have it in me to fully commit to something as dark as “It” yet, but I am in desperate need of a spooky book for the season.
Take a stroll at a local park, coffee in hand, without my phone and appreciate the leaves and the changing season. I love coffee and very long walks in the park. But I am so bad about falling into doomscrolling (or playing Pokemon Go) while walking so at least once this, season I am going to go to the park and put my phone away and try to be a little bit more present and enjoy my surroundings.
Have a cinnamon roll and chili night. Listen, I know it doesn't sound great when you initially read/hear it, but cinnamon rolls and chili are a thing! I grew up in Kansas and every time it showed up on the lunch menu there would basically be an uproar of excitement in my tiny Midwest farm town school. It was so good. Just trust me here!
Visit a haunted house/spooky corn maze. I just want to go get some gas station hot chocolate then, go get scared within an inch of my life. Whether it’s in a creepy corn maze or a dilapidated old building that may or may not be haunted, I don’t care.
Try a new soup recipe. Typically, my idea of soup is a can of lite Progresso poured over instant mashed potatoes (try it before you come for me, it’s pretty solid) and last year I got bold and attempted a twist on Julia Child’s beef bourguignon. But this year I want to go even further and see what I can do!
Fall craft night. I told my friends that this is the year we get extra into fall and that is including crafting. A few years ago we painted ghosts onto thrifted paintings, so let’s see what we can do to top it this year!
I’m really hoping to slow down a bit starting this season and reset as we’re moving into the cooler months, which is why I opted for a lot of slower-paced activities this year. But I’m really going to keep myself from Falling into doing absolutely nothing for the season and report back along the way! I also made a printable version of this list attached below, print it and check it off along with me! Shoot me a message on Instagram to share your favorite fall recipes for me to try! If you need me, I’ll (hopefully) be strolling through the park and trying to figure out if I can carve a sexy yet sensible Michael Myers pumpkin for my first fall craft of the season, that’s doable- right?
